  • *Job Summary**

As a Customer Service Representative - Membership Development, you'll be responsible for receiving and resolving member service requests via phone or internet, while also promoting various products and services to meet their needs. You'll work closely with our team to achieve proficiency in multiple business lines, including membership development, and possess the skills to make service-policy exceptions on behalf of our members. This is an entry-level trainee position, with a 90-day training period to ensure you're equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this role.

  • *Responsibilities**
  • Receive and resolve member service requests via phone or internet, providing exceptional service and ensuring member satisfaction
  • Promote various products and services to meet member needs, while also driving growth and revenue
  • Work closely with our team to achieve proficiency in multiple business lines, including membership development
  • Possess the skills to make service-policy exceptions on behalf of our members, ensuring member retention and satisfaction
  • Meet goals and minimum standards within the 90-day training period
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • *Requirements**
  • Prior customer service experience (1-2 years)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency using computers, including data entry and complex computer navigation
  • Flexible, "can-do" attitude to navigate our ever-changing environment
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Must live within 30 miles of our training location (1225 S Freeport Pkwy, Coppell, TX 75019)
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Experience in a membership-based organization or similar industry
  • Knowledge of membership development and sales principles
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
