As a 1st line Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support via email and text messages. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will make all the difference in delivering a positive experience.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to customer emails, answering their questions based on provided FAQs and training
- Escalate more complicated emails to the Customer Service Manager and send a first reply to the customers
- Reply to text messages as per the established procedures
- Send out email notifications to verify shipping addresses and possible fraudulent orders, keeping track of replies and updating addresses in the system or confirming orders as correct or escalating fraudulent orders accordingly
- Reach out to customers who added negative reviews to ask for more details about their experience and offer a solution in coordination with the Customer Service Manager
- Organize and maintain email inbox in alignment with pre-set folders/tags
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Experienced and proficient communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to follow guidelines with a low margin for error
- Fluent (native or advanced) in English
- Fast learner with a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and systems
- Experience in email support and customer service
- Proficient user of Gmail and Freshdesk
