  • *Key Responsibilities**

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Accounts Receivable & Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming inquiries from customers in a courteous and professional manner, building strong relationships with our customer base
  • Proactively assessing customer needs and addressing them promptly, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Handling administrative tasks, including data entry, reconciliation of accounts receivable, and processing daily batches with customers' invoices and payments
  • Resolving disputes and keeping customers informed of the resolution process
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on customer accounts, ensuring good data quality and integrity
  • Collecting past due balances and keeping accounts receivable up to date
  • Entering delivery or service work orders for deliveries, tank installs, and other technical issues
  • Maintaining mandatory documents in our digital filing system and ensuring they're up to date as needed
  • Ensuring new customers complete mandatory documentation, including required safety documentation, credit applications, agreements, and other necessary paperwork
  • Assisting the service manager in communicating customer service ticket status and any changes to customers
  • Assisting the service manager in maintaining an inventory of tanks and select parts
  • Completing data entry of service tickets
  • Maintaining DOT truck and employee records, notifying the shop of upcoming tests, and scheduling driver testing with local facilities
  • Collaborating with other team members on seasonal projects during slower business periods to prepare for the new season
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience
  • 1-3 years of customer service or other applicable work experience
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work in a group office setting, whether the task requires independent or group work
  • Ability to multitask between customer service and clerical work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
  • Must pass a background check and character reference checks
  • Must have a minimum of three job-related references (non-family)
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service work experience
  • 1-3 years of accounts or accounts receivable work experience
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Business Office suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must pass background check and character reference checks
  • Must have a minimum of three job-related references (non-family)
