• *Key Responsibilities:**

• Respond to telephone and email inquiries from clients and providers within defined service standards
• Negotiate with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers
• Assist clients with benefits and healthcare questions
• Document all calls received in system-based call log
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure exceptional service delivery

• *Requirements and Qualifications:**

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of college or higher education preferred
• 1 year of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role
• Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience a plus
• Bilingual English-Spanish a plus
• Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and strong computer skills
• Excellent data entry and typing skills
• Knowledge of provider organizations and networks
• Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
• Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Medical terminology knowledge a plus
• Claim processing skills a plus
• Insurance verification or precertification a plus
• Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience a plus

• *Work Environment and Physical Demands:**

This position is in a typical office/home office environment, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer. You'll need hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including standard computer and phone equipment.
