We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Expeditor & Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic Supply Chain Operations team in Charlotte, USA. What You'll Do
As an Expeditor at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and parts that keep our operations running efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate clearly with external vendors to expedite the arrival of essential parts exactly as needed to support the organization's standard material goals. This position requires exceptional communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Here's a comprehensive breakdown of your key responsibilities:
- Vendor Coordination: Establish and maintain clear communication with external vendors to accelerate the delivery of aircraft parts and materials, ensuring they arrive precisely on schedule to meet our operational requirements.
- AOG Support: Work with Aircraft on Ground (AOG) orders as required, understanding the critical nature of these emergency situations and responding with urgency and precision.
- Supplier Management: Follow up on past-due requests with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining strong relationships with our vendor network.
- Maintenance Coordination: Handle maintenance and transport arrangements, as well as inventory reports, to determine the priority of materials required for ongoing operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide transportation and logistics information to various internal workgroups, ensuring everyone has the data they need to make informed decisions.
- Documentation Management: Update FMR (Flight Maintenance Record) or log pages with current vehicle information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records at all times.
- Reporting: Create and update Excel-based reports, status updates, and visual diagrams for management visibility, helping leadership make data-driven decisions.
- System Maintenance: Maintain appropriate purchasing records and data within purchasing software programs, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.
- Purchasing Support: Assist Buyers with obtaining clarifications and tracking purchase order status, providing exceptional support to the procurement team.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Work with internal departments as well as vendors to address any discrepancies in shipping, invoicing, quality, and part numbers or quantities that may arise.
- Invoice Management: Assist supervisors in resolving invoice issues, ensuring financial accuracy and timely payments.
- Safety Compliance: Work with Vendor Management teams to identify all potentially hazardous situations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role at arenaflex, you'll need the following minimum qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required. An Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, as an expeditor, or in Supply Chain understanding.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and other productivity tools.
