Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our Building Performance and Controls team, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall efficiency and sustainability of our facilities. Your daily activities will include:
- System Diagnostics and Problem Resolution: Conduct thorough diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve complex issues related to building control systems. Apply advanced programming techniques to implement effective solutions and follow up to ensure long-term effectiveness.
- Programming and Configuration: Perform unique or specialized programming tasks on building control systems by modifying or adjusting control strategies. This includes responding to trends, alerts, thaws, and work orders while staying current with manufacturer recalls and updates.
- Energy Management: Program daylight harvesting systems and ensure sustainability initiatives and energy reductions are achieved through strategic programming changes. Monitor energy consumption patterns and recommend optimizations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in building performance and controls by utilizing and sharing resources, information, and tools. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine client needs and business requirements.
- Project Execution: Design and execute work tasks based on client needs and business requirements. Provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved.
