Key Responsibilities

As our Director of Data Science & Analytics, you will be entrusted with leading and developing a high-performing analytics team while scaling the function efficiently according to our strategic growth plans. Your responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and nurture a high-performing analytics team, identifying top talent, providing mentorship and training, and defining the team's goals and objectives in alignment with the company's overall strategic direction.


• Talent Acquisition: Identify, recruit, and retain top-level analytical talent to build a world-class data science function that supports our evolving business needs.


• Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product features, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement, ensuring data-driven decision-making at every level.


• Strategic Insights: Identify opportunities for product improvements and profitability gains through comprehensive data analysis, experimentation, automation, and technology enhancements.


• Advanced Analytics: Apply advanced analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, influencing product development, marketing strategies, and design improvements across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record of delivering impactful analytical insights. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience: 3+ years in leading product and customer analytics, experimentation, and insights within global top-tier technology companies, preferably in e-commerce or retail environments.


• Leadership Experience: 3+ years in a management role, specifically in building and leading data science and analytics teams from the ground up or scaling existing functions.


• Proven Results: A demonstrated history of delivering successful insights, driving measurable business results, and facilitating continuous product improvement through data-driven strategies and experimentation.


• Technical Proficiency: Strong capability in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools including Python, R/SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.


• Cross-Functional Experience: Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.


• Executive Presence: Prior C-level/Executive Board exposure with experience contributing to and engaging in-depth discussions with C-suite partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field


• Experience in scaling analytics functions within rapidly growing organizations
