About the Role: Data Entry Specialist

arenaflex is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team. This is a remote contract position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home. The position is open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States, with a preference for those located in Pacific Time (PT) or Mountain Time (MT) time zones.

This is a 6-8 month contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. As part of our commitment to your success, we provide all contractors with the necessary equipment, including a Chromebook for work use.

What You Will Do

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our dental insurance claims processing operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will directly impact the quality of care that patients receive. Here is what you can expect in this role:


  • Accurate Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks related to dental insurance claims processing with precision and attention to detail. You will be responsible for entering, verifying, and maintaining data in our systems to ensure the highest levels of accuracy.

  • Image Management: Download and upload dental images from client portals to the arenaflex portal. You will ensure that all images are properly organized, labeled, and accessible for analysis by our AI systems and clinical teams.

  • Quality Assurance: Review data for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors in the information entered.

  • HIPAA Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA policies and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times. You will be the guardian of patient data privacy.

  • System Navigation: Efficiently navigate multiple software platforms and portals to retrieve, input, and transfer data between systems.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes and suggest improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Essential Qualifications:


  • Prior Experience: Previous experience in data entry is required. You should be comfortable working with large volumes of data and have a proven track record of maintaining high accuracy levels.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of data entry. You must be able to spot errors and inconsistencies quickly.

  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems quickly. Familiarity with Google Suite or similar productivity tools is a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with team members.

  • Reliability: A reliable internet connection is essential for remote work. You must have a stable and secure internet connection to access company systems.

  • Availability: Ability to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week during core US business hours. Preference will be given to candidates in PT or MT time zones.

  • HIPAA Knowledge: Must be willing to comply with HIPAA policies and maintain data security and patient confidentiality at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Familiarity with dental insurance claims or healthcare data entry is highly desirable.

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment.

  • Basic understanding of dental terminology and procedures.

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
