Position Overview
We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Data Entry Clerk to join our Manufacturing Operations team. In this vital role, you'll serve as the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring accurate data management, supporting cross-functional departments, and contributing to our commitment of delivering excellence in everything we do. You'll work closely with various teams to input, verify, and maintain critical information that drives our manufacturing processes and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for the following essential duties:
- Data Management & Entry: Accurately transfer data from hard copy documents to digital databases, input text-based and numerical information from source departments, and ensure all records are maintained with the highest level of accuracy to optimize swift and accurate reporting.
- System Utilization: proficiently use Microsoft Office computer programs, SAP enterprise resource planning system, and Shop Vue to perform daily data entry tasks and generate necessary reports.
- Spreadsheet Development: Create and maintain spreadsheets to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring all data is properly organized, formatted, and accessible for analysis by management and other stakeholders.
- Data Verification: Verify accurate data, investigate information discrepancies, and make any necessary changes to records in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate reporting. Apply effective data program entry techniques to minimize errors.
- Report Generation: Generate and interpret reports, assist with data verification and scanning projects, and process reports as scheduled or requested for various departments within the organization.
- System Error Investigation: Assist in investigating system-generated errors (COGIS) in SAP, working collaboratively with IT and operations teams to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.
- Documentation Support: Research and obtain additional information needed for incomplete documents, ensuring all records meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Departmental Support: Provide administrative support and data entry support across departments as requested, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to assist where needed.
- Communication: Coordinate and communicate all relevant issues to appropriate personnel and assist in establishing countermeasures for identified problems. Demonstrate professionalism and courteous communication with internal partners.
- Meeting & Event Support: Attend and assist with the preparation of meetings, events, and special projects as needed.
- Compliance & Safety: Abide by all safety regulations and policies, must wear all required PPE for any task currently being performed, and fully support and comply with all ISO Systems and corporate objectives and projects.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
- Technical Skills: 2 years of SAP/ERP experience is highly desired.
- Computer Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, specifically Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Must be able to utilize various office equipment effectively.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical abilities are required to perform calculations and verify numerical data accurately.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficient reading skills required.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
