As a Customer Service Representative, you'll interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company's reputation for high-quality service. This role requires independent and self-directed performance while working across a greater team.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients.
- Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications.
- Conduct adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies.
- Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, while proactively gaining patient and order information.
- Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education.
- Provide routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist.
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone.
- 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application.
- Must reside in the state of Nevada.
- Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting.
- Knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements.
