About This Position

We are currently seeking Customer Service Representatives to work in the Agent Services department for our corporate office in Duluth, Georgia. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and want to build a long-term career in the financial services industry.

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in client services. You will be responsible for delivering exemplary customer service to arenaflex term life policyholders and agents, addressing both verbal and written inquiries pertaining to our term life insurance policies. This position offers a unique blend of customer interaction, problem-solving, and administrative responsibilities that will help you develop a comprehensive skill set valuable throughout your career.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative 1 at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service to our policyholders and agents. Your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Customer Inquiry Resolution: Address verbal and written inquiries from arenaflex term life policyholders and agents regarding their insurance policies, billing questions, policy coverage details, underwriting processes, and contract changes.

  • Active Listening and Problem Identification: Identify customer concerns by asking appropriate questions to fully understand their needs and provide accurate, personalized solutions.

  • Professional Communication: Respond to inquiries in a concise, courteous, and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude even in challenging situations.

  • Documentation and Research: Document all research findings thoroughly to ensure accurate record-keeping and facilitate continuity of care for each customer interaction.

  • Policy Corrections: Perform corrections identified during customer calls and forward necessary corrections to the appropriate party for further processing or approval when required.

  • Escalation Management: Recognize priority situations and understand when to notify appropriate parties, including supervisors or specialized departments, to ensure timely resolution of complex issues.

  • Conflict Resolution: Communicate professionally with customers who may be upset or irate, employing de-escalation techniques to turn potentially negative interactions into positive experiences.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of arenaflex's products, services, and procedures to provide accurate information and guidance to customers.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry regulations, policy updates, and departmental procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy in all customer interactions.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally
  • Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping others
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in policy information and documentation
  • Proficient PC skills with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of company products and procedures
  • Capability to communicate professionally with customers who may be frustrated or upset
  • Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous call center customer service experience (minimum 1 year preferred, but not required)
  • Previous insurance or financial services experience is a plus
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume customer service environment
  • Familiarity with insurance terminology and concepts
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Multi-language capabilities (particularly Spanish) is advantageous but not required

Schedule and Compensation

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We offer stable, predictable scheduling that supports work-life balance.

Salary: The starting salary for this position ranges from $28,000 to $32,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We believe in transparent compensation that reflects your skills and contributions to our team.

Remote Work Requirements

For team members opting to work remotely after completing training, the following technical requirements must be met:



  • Personal Computer or Laptop (PC or MAC)

  • PC: Windows 10 compatible only (Windows 7, 8, or 9 are not supported)

  • Chromebook devices are not permitted for remote work

  • Internet Access with the following minimum speeds:

    • Upload speed: 8 Mbps

    • Download speed: 15 Mbps
