Job Description – Framework Migration Engineer
Experience: 4+ Years
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Framework Migration Engineer to support the migration of our test automation framework from Protractor to Playwright/WDIO. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with these frameworks and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues during the migration process.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve compatibility issues between Protractor and Playwright/WDIO.
Migrate existing test cases from Protractor to WDIO.
Update and maintain test automation framework documentation.
Provide technical support and guidance to engineers during the migration process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to understand and implement End-to-End (E2E) automation frameworks, including UI, API, and CI integration.
4+ years of experience with Protractor.
2+ years of experience with Playwright or WDIO.
Experience working with automation frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, and Chai.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
