We are seeking an AI-Native Builder Product Owner to accelerate entry into new scientific domains by rapidly prototyping and validating application-layer solutions on top of our platform. 
This role sits at the intersection of: 
<ul>
<li>Scientific domain expertise</li>
<li>AI-assisted software development</li>
<li>Product ownership</li>
<li>Application architecture </li>
</ul>
You will compress the cycle between domain insight and working software — while partnering closely with Engineering and Product Management to ensure production-grade outcomes. 
This is not a traditional PM or engineering role. You are a builder with domain depth and AI fluency. 
What You Will Do: 
1. Own a Target Scientific Domain (QC Manufacturing to start)
<ul>
<li>Develop a deep understanding of domain workflows, constraints, and regulatory context</li>
<li>Engage directly with early adopter customers</li>
<li>Translate domain problems into working software prototypes</li>
<li>Identify reusable patterns vs one-off requests</li>
</ul>
 
2. Build Application-Layer Solutions Using AI
<ul>
<li>Use AI tooling to accelerate:
<ul>
<li>Code generation</li>
<li>Workflow automation</li>
<li>Configuration logic</li>
<li>Application scaffolding</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Produce working prototypes — not slideware</li>
<li>Operate within defined sandbox and governance boundaries</li>
<li>Maintain version-controlled, reviewable artifacts</li>
</ul>
 
3. Validate Product–Market Fit Through Real Artifacts
<ul>
<li>Rapidly test domain hypotheses through functional prototypes</li>
<li>Shorten time from concept to demo</li>
<li>Gather structured feedback from customers</li>
<li>Identify which capabilities merit platform-level investment</li>
</ul>
 
4. Partner with Engineering for Productionization
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with Platform Engineering on:
<ul>
<li>Architecture review</li>
<li>Security and compliance considerations</li>
<li>Performance and reliability constraints</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Package validated patterns for refactoring into production code</li>
<li>Respect governance and integration standards</li>
</ul>
 
5. Drive Economic Outcomes
<ul>
<li>Reduce time-to-prototype in new domains</li>
<li>Increase reuse of validated extension patterns</li>
<li>Inform roadmap investment decisions with working artifacts</li>
<li>Avoid speculative feature investment</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications 
Required
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in software development or technical product ownership</li>
<li>Strong hands-on coding experience (Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar)</li>
<li>Proven use of AI tools to build or accelerate software development</li>
<li>Experience operating in version-controlled, production-grade environments</li>
<li>Experience working directly with technical engineering teams </li>
</ul>
Strongly Preferred
<ul>
<li>Deep experience in a relevant scientific domain (e.g., QC Manufacturing, genomics, regulated laboratory environments)</li>
<li>Experience building configurable or workflow-driven systems</li>
<li>Familiarity with SaaS architecture and API-driven platforms</li>
<li>Understanding of regulated environments (e.g., validation, auditability, compliance)</li>
</ul>
