The Supplier Quality Compliance Engineer is a highly motivated individual that supports Supplier Quality Compliance systems and command media. This individual is responsible for executing the Material Alert process to ensure compliance with requirements and command media. This individual engages with BAE Systems functional stakeholders, maintains Material Alert timeline requirements, hosts Material Alert status meetings, helps to maintain and update command media documentation, and utilizes Quality Engineering skills and experience to help shape Supplier Quality control systems and tools.
This individual has solid communication skills as well as the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
Discrete role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting Audit/Evaluations scheduling reviews
- Administration of Supplier Evaluations system
- Reviewing and redlining command media for improvement/updates as required, creating communication plans, and supporting the process through release
- Executing the Material Alert process
- Cross-functional engagement with stakeholders to include: Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Program Management, and Engineering disciplines
- Occasional interaction fielding DCMA inquiries
- Performs Data Extraction/Performance Analysis/Reporting
- Supporting Continuous Improvement projects
