We are seeking dedicated <strong>Substance Use Counselors (ADT, CAC-AD, CSC-AD)</strong> who are passionate about helping individuals achieve and maintain recovery.<br><br> </div><div>This is an excellent opportunity for both <strong>trainees and certified counselors</strong> to grow within a supportive and mission-driven organization.<br><br> </div><div> <strong>What You’ll Do:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> Provide individual and group counseling for substance use and co-occurring disorders </li> <li> Complete intake assessments and contribute to treatment planning </li> <li> Support clients with relapse prevention and recovery goal setting </li> <li> Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program standards </li> <li> Collaborate with clinical and peer support staff </li> <li> Connect clients to community resources and support services </li> <li> Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training </li> </ul><div> <strong>What You Bring:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> Active <strong>ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD credential</strong> in Maryland </li> <li> High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s preferred for certified roles) </li> <li> Strong communication and documentation skills </li> <li> Understanding of substance use treatment and recovery principles </li> <li> Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality </li> <li> Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB test </li> </ul><div> <strong>Nice to Have:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> Experience in outpatient, IOP, or community-based treatment programs </li> <li> Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction </li> <li> Familiarity with EHR systems </li> <li> Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus </li> </ul><div> <strong>Physical Requirements:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> May require sitting, standing, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs) </li> <li> Able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation </li> </ul><div> <strong>Benefits:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> Competitive pay based on experience </li> <li> Clinical supervision for ADTs and certification advancement </li> <li> Opportunities for career growth and promotion </li> <li> Supportive team environment </li> <li> Flexible scheduling options </li> </ul><div></div> </div> <p>Flexible work from home options available.</p>
