Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager, EPMO plays an important role in the organization by managing the full life cycle of programs and projects for the company's EPMO Information Technology projects. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for full project life cycle including initiation, development, testing, implementation, and close out of EPMO projects. This includes responsibility for building the project team and developing and delivering stakeholder communications. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for working with sponsors and stakeholders for managing the program/project vision including scope management, milestones, and timelines. The Senior Project Manager is adept in project delivery methods including Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, Prototyping and other practices and leads management and the team to determine best fit for various efforts. The Senior Project Manager serves as a dedicated point of contact between business and technical stakeholders as well as team members for technology projects. Senior Project Managers become trusted partners and advocates for senior business and IT stakeholders. Senior Project Managers will build teams and foster collaboration across disciplines and teams in order to drive successful team delivery. Within the EPMO, they are responsible for managing improvements to EPMO processes and procedures. Senior Project Managers will mentor and supervise other members of the project management community.

Compensation

This role is an exempt position with a targeted salary range of $109,114/year to $156,510/year.

Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.

Supervision

Job Scope:  Responsible for understanding the department/functional area objectives and goals and how own job contributes to achievement of these goals; may contribute insights and ideas on policies, processes, procedures, and efficiency; may recommend changes and enhancements based on analysis and evaluation of circumstances

Complexity:  Problem solving involves evaluating and resolving discrepancies with people, data, analyses, processes, etc. within prescribed program/project guidelines; may also involve resolving basic resource coordination and availability.

Impact:  Decisions and actions have a direct impact on the outcomes of the department, projects, and programs.

Interaction/Supervision:  Acts as a mentor/guide to less experienced professional contributor staff in a similar role; works independently and only under general direction; guided by professional standards, desired outcomes, and project plan specifications.
