The PMO team is focused on driving business-critical planning and processes to drive prioritization, monitoring, and execution of high-value initiatives across the division. We work with cross-functional ideation and collaboration, build resources, and offer best practices to further support work groups in delivering impact.
The Role: PMO Project Manager
As a PMO Project Manager at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to lead the project management of high-value strategic initiatives that directly shape how we serve our customers. You'll be responsible for orchestrating complex projects from inception through execution, working across multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver transformative results.
The ideal candidate blends strong PM skills with strategic interest, design thinking, and a genuine desire to help drive our business forward. You'll be joining a dynamic team that's building a Center of Excellence for strategic portfolio management—a center that will serve as the benchmark for project excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project management of high-value initiatives across the RES division, including organizing assignments from project inception and planning to execution and conclusion
- Create and maintain project artifacts including project charters, project plans, risk and issue logs, and parking lots, ensuring comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects of varying priority and complexity across various teams or partners, demonstrating exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
- Drive the growth of the association's culture at the functional level, ensuring strong alignment with partners across the broader organization
- Develop communication strategies and implement processes, activities, and projects that result in optimal dispersal of information and communication consistency, increasing awareness of project expectations, change management, and impact
- Support the development of business cases, prioritization, and overall divisional portfolio management, contributing to strategic decision-making at the leadership level
- Maintain and establish effective relationships and feedback loops between leaders, functional partners, and cross-divisional arenaflex teams
- Support the evolving design and growth of the RES PMO capability and the development of a Center of Excellence for strategic portfolio management
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment between various business units and stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, implementing contingency plans as needed
- Champion best practices in project management methodology across the organization
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Exceptional coordinating, organization, and innovative problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering results
- Demonstrated ability and proven history of success in managing and delivering multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity
- Unparalleled communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across the organization and build and manage relationships with stakeholders and senior leadership
- Capacity to lead and work independently and within team environments, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative
- Proficiency in written and oral communications, with the ability to produce concise documents for executive presentations
- Must perform acceptably in their current position with proven performance metrics

- Where permitted by relevant law, you have received or will receive the Coronavirus vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based work, if not currently employed by arenaflex, Inc.

- Is at least 18 years old and has authorization to work in the United States
What Will Give You an Upper Hand (Preferred Qualifications)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or experience managing assignments according to Project Management Institute (PMI) standards
- Experience with PowerApps, SharePoint, and project management software is strongly desired
- Appreciates working in a high-profile environment with fluid needs, ambiguity, and aggressive timelines
- Experience in the travel, hospitality, or customer service industry
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with portfolio management tools and dashboards
- Background in change management and organizational transformation
- Six Sigma or Lean certification
