Position Overview
We are currently seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Studio Research & Analytics team. This role will support our Product, Marketing & Content Curation and In-Home Marketing & Distribution organizations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will work closely with our Product teams, reading and synthesizing data while providing support for quantitative and qualitative research projects for key stakeholders.
This is a hybrid position requiring in-person collaboration from Monday through Thursday, with remote work available on Fridays. This arrangement allows for both collaborative innovation and flexible work life balance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in driving our consumer experience monitoring programs. Your primary areas of responsibility will include:
- Assisting with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research activities including collection and training of data, along with extraction and evaluation of data from multiple sources to build summaries, tables, and report sections
- Combining disparate data sets using SQL to support the daily operations of our consumer experience monitoring program
- Partnering with different teams to conduct research, including communicating project goals, business needs, and timelines to effectively prioritize, innovate, and optimize our datasets
- Building and maintaining relationships with research counterparts within the team and from other divisions of the company, as well as external vendors
- Analyzing and preparing ongoing and ad hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various organizations in the product marketing, engagement, and product strategy areas, including our Streaming Bundle offerings
- Managing assigned projects, implementing quality assurance processes, and reporting duties and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timeframes
- Working with the Senior Manager and team to ensure that each outcome is strategically actionable and drives key decision making
- Collaborating with the team and analytics organizations within Snowflake and Databricks environments
- Maintaining both up-to-date verbal and written knowledge of data points and requirements
- Responding to urgent data requests from internal clients
- Supporting presentation of findings based on research performed and contributing to related business discussions
- Staying at the forefront of streaming video-on-demand and In-Home business trends amidst a constantly evolving landscape
Basic Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or related field AND three years of relevant work experience OR Master's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or related field AND one year of relevant work experience
- Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and integrate disparate data sources
- Ability to extract data and integrate with other data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the business
- Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical abilities
- Ability to work swiftly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capability to work effectively in an environment of tight timeframes and regular change
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be highly valued:
- Proficiency in data processing tools such as SPSS, Q, or MarketSight
- Experience with survey tools such as Decipher, Qualtrics, or SurveyMonkey
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, including Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, or STATA
- Advanced degree in Market Research or Statistics
- Quantitative research background, either supplier-side or client-side
- Experience with analyzing survey data to extract actionable insights
- Experience with subscription-based business models and strategy
