Position Overview
As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in addressing key business questions regarding the performance of various subscription and conversion streams across our streaming platforms. You will be responsible for identifying patterns in both structured and unstructured data, developing strategic recommendations to improve business performance, and driving the use of analytics as a key revenue driver to increase customer acquisitions and business conversions across several newly expanded global tiering initiatives.
What You'll Do
As an integral part of our analytics team, you will be expected to:
- Build comprehensive analyses, data visualizations, and cross-functional reporting that provide critical support to operations and decision-making for our subscription and conversion product spaces. Your work will directly influence strategic planning and operational efficiency across multiple departments.
- Answer core business questions and provide analytical expertise on the various conversion streams across our streaming platforms to improve customer experience and increase transformations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Advance the analytical capabilities of the business by collaborating on the design of diagnostic solutions and delivering exceptional data insights and products. You will mentor junior analysts and contribute to the overall analytical maturity of the organization.
- Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and scripting languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data. You will be comfortable working with large datasets and extracting meaningful patterns from complex data sources.
- Apply descriptive and inferential statistics including t-tests, chi-square tests, ANOVA, correlation analysis, regression, factor analysis, and other statistical methods to understand partner behaviors and value propositions, making a significant impact across the business.
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key performance metrics and business KPIs, enabling stakeholders to monitor performance and identify trends proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to drive alignment on analytical initiatives and ensure data-driven decision making is embedded across the organization.

- A Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- 3+ years of professional experience as an analyst in a data and analytics space with strong SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, advanced analysis, performance optimization, and working with data at scale. Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms is highly valued.
- Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools like Matplotlib, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, or similar platforms. You should be able to create compelling visual narratives that communicate complex findings effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience delivering end-to-end analysis projects: taking them from undefined requirements to a successful story, openly communicating across various audiences, and ultimately driving measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral). Ability to build strong working relationships with teammates, colleagues, and technical partners. Ability to present confidently before senior leadership and executive teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to approach complex business challenges with creative analytical solutions. You should be comfortable working in ambiguous environments and capable of defining your own path forward.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and appropriately escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
