What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As an IT Business Analyst – IT Offices, you will provide IT administration of professional services, project management, and operational support to ensure the functional sustainability of the critical infrastructure that supports our airport communication spaces. Your responsibilities will include:
- Infrastructure Administration: Manage all site implementations, inventories, system planning, and preventive maintenance strategies for data center critical infrastructure, IT certification labs, and remote communication room equipment.
- IT Labs Support: Provide comprehensive IT support for our laboratories, ensuring our client application and engineering teams have access to workstations, hardware, and testing environments for their critical applications.
- Remote Coordination: Coordinate with professional services teams responsible for critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the management, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of all critical facilities infrastructure for data centers and remote communication room equipment.
- Standards Development: Develop and implement data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.
- Network Integrity: Support the IT Offices grounds fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring.
- Policy Implementation: Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures while ensuring compliance with all governing corporate standards.
- Project Management: Lead data center and remote communication room infrastructure capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancement projects from conception to completion.
- Vendor Management: Select IT and critical facilities services, ensure accurate documentation, secure best pricing for products and services, and guarantee that vendors meet their contractual obligations.
- Capacity Management: Manage space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity to ensure optimal performance of all IT infrastructure.
- Incident Management: Provide remote incident management resolution for airport critical equipment, minimizing operational disruptions.
- Change Control: Maintain strict adherence to change control activities and documentation requirements.
What You Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications
To excel in this role at arenaflex, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to build and maintain effective communication and relationships with supervisory teams, vendors, and peers.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities infrastructure.
- Project Management: Proven experience in capital forecasting and project management for airport critical equipment lifecycle replacement.
- Corporate Collaboration: Experience supporting Corporate Real Estate projects that involve remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices representative, including on-site assessment reporting.
- Infrastructure Management: Expertise in space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management.
- Vendor Relations: Strong skills in selecting critical facilities services, ensuring documentation accuracy, negotiating favorable terms, and vendor compliance management.
- Technical Design: Ability to manage the design, implementation, and vendor support of electrical power, HVAC, fire suppression, security, floor support, and cabling programs for communication rooms.
- Support Capabilities: Experience providing proactive and break-fix support for alert/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, labs, and data center equipment.
- Sustainability Focus: Ability to ensure operational sustainability of airport critical environment systems.
- Documentation Skills: Experience developing Plan Guidelines for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, HVAC, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems.
- Remote Support: Capability to provide remote installation, configuration, and operational support.
- Time Management: Strong ability to balance multiple priorities within established time limitations.
- Flexibility: Adaptability to support operations with varying shifts, extended hours, and dynamic work requirements.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
