What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Product Designer at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. Your primary focus will be on developing a deep understanding of our products and services, enabling you to prioritize features based on business value and create detailed user stories that are ready for development.
Core Duties Include:
- Lead complex analysis of existing processes, systems, and desired objectives to meet the goals and purpose of assigned products
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to prioritize feature development based on business value
- Create and elaborate initial stories and features into comprehensive client scenarios that clearly describe functional and non-functional requirements
- Document and communicate business requirements through artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria-based user stories, process flows, wireframe diagrams, connection graphs, mockups, and demos
- Work collaboratively within a multi-functional team in a Scrum framework environment
- Lead working sessions and report on new features, requirements, and methodologies
- Oversee testing, bug tracking, and enhancements while ensuring issues are resolved before promoting to production environments
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while balancing evolving priorities
- Utilize data and analytics to communicate solution impact and support process-driven decisions
- Develop business logic and key metrics for integration into decision support models and tools
- Create comprehensive problem statements including issue descriptions and improvement measures
- Dig deep beyond surface-level issues to understand root causes
- Deliver recommendations and supporting data to formulate strong, logical, and justifiable business cases
- Provide guidance for project planning and effort estimation within scope
- Support risk identification and mitigation approaches
- Build and maintain relationships with internal clients and business unit leaders
What We're Looking For: Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Requirements (Must-Haves):
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager, Product Owner, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Agile concepts and principles; ability to apply appropriate Agile methodologies in software development and delivery processes
- Understanding of product features; capability to design, build, and develop new products, technologies, or services from concept through production
- Proficiency in requirement analysis tools, methods, and techniques; ability to elicit, analyze, and document expected business functionality and non-functional requirements
- Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding presentation and organizational abilities
- Proven track record in current position with consistent performance
- Unwavering commitment to safety and security of self, others, and sensitive data
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
- Strong understanding of Agile/SDLC development approaches
- DevOps experience including the use of enterprise Agile planning solutions
- Previous experience as a Product Subject Matter Expert with ownership for development and execution
- Flexibility to adapt and anticipate changing business objectives
- Aviation industry experience is a significant plus
- Background in business process re-engineering
- Extensive experience working with Agile teams in fast-paced environments
