What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional support to customers of one of the nation's leading power and utility companies. Your primary responsibility is to handle high volumes of inbound calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency while identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Customer Support Excellence: Respond to inbound calls from residential and commercial customers seeking assistance with power outage issues, billing inquiries, payment processing, and service management. Resolve customer concerns with patience and precision, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.

• Sales Background: Prior experience with upselling or cross-selling components in previous roles. You should be comfortable discussing products and services with customers and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as the position is conducted entirely via telephone. You must be able to articulate clearly, listen actively, and maintain professionalism throughout every interaction.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable learning and navigating multiple software applications, screens, and databases. Strong typing skills and the ability to enter data accurately while engaging in conversation with customers.

Work Environment & Requirements

At arenaflex, we believe that a successful remote work arrangement requires the right setup and environment. As part of our interview process, we'll conduct a virtual video tour of your home office to ensure you have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace that meets our standards. This workspace should be:

• Private and secure, with the ability to take calls without interruptions

You'll work a set schedule of 40 hours per week, with shifts available between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. While the position is primarily daytime hours with no weekends required, please note that mandatory overtime may be required during emergency situations, such as major storm outages, to ensure our client's customers receive timely support.
