Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our information systems. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Data Input and Entry: Efficiently and accurately input text-based and numerical information from various source documents into our database systems within established time limits. You will handle customer profiles, membership information, training schedules, equipment inventory, and other critical business data.
  • Data Compilation and Verification: Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry. This includes cross-referencing information, checking for consistency, and organizing data in a logical manner that facilitates easy retrieval and use.
  • Quality Control and Error Correction: Review data for deficiencies, errors, or incompatibilities and correct any issues when possible. You will carefully check your output to ensure accuracy and completeness before finalizing any entries into the system.
  • Research and Information Gathering: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents or records. You will proactively seek out missing data while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Technical Data Processing: Apply data program techniques and procedures to manage, organize, and manipulate data within our various software systems. This includes using formulas, templates, and automated processes where applicable.
  • Report Generation: Generate reports as requested by management and other departments. Store completed work in designated locations and perform regular backup operations to ensure data security and availability.
  • Document Management: Scan physical documents and print files when needed, converting physical records into digital formats and vice versa as required for business operations.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Keep all information strictly confidential, adhering to data protection policies and privacy regulations. You will handle sensitive employee and client information with the utmost discretion.
  • Information Retrieval: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files promptly and accurately. You will serve as a resource for other departments seeking specific data or reports.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper use of working equipment and promptly address any malfunctions or technical issues that arise during your workday.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven Data Entry Experience: Previous work experience as a Data Entry Operator, File Clerk, or Office Clerk is required. You should be comfortable with the repetitive nature of data entry work and maintain accuracy throughout your shift.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word, is essential. Familiarity with database management programs and data entry software is highly desirable.
