Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex customer service team, your primary duties will include:

  • Heavy Phone Contact: Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls with policyholders, healthcare providers, and interested third parties, providing professional and empathetic assistance with their insurance-related inquiries.
  • Policy Information Support: Explain policy coverage details, benefits, and limitations to policyholders in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring they fully comprehend their insurance protection.
  • Claim Status Assistance: Provide timely updates on claim status, investigate claims issues, and work diligently to resolve any concerns or discrepancies policyholders may have.
  • Payment Processing: Assist policyholders with claim payments, premium inquiries, billing questions, and other financial aspects of their insurance policies.
  • Multi-Channel Communication: Process policyholder requests received through various channels including correspondence, phone calls, and email, ensuring each inquiry receives prompt and accurate attention.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in our database systems, ensuring information is current and accessible for future reference.
  • Procedure Compliance: Review and implement new and revised procedures regarding policy information, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
  • Minimum of one year of office or customer service experience; telecommunications experience is a plus
  • Background in Life and Health insurance with knowledge of insurance operations is highly desirable
  • Proven customer service background with excellent phone skills and a passion for helping others
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent alpha and number recognition skills with strong attention to detail
