The estimated pay range for this role is $40-$44 per hour
Must have an active RN license in the state of Colorado and Oklahoma.
The Virtual Care Registered Nurse is responsible for providing evidence-based nursing care to patients remotely. As a team member in the 24/7 virtual care center, this position will include monitoring patient biometric values, clinical evaluation, and care plan creation/modification. Through proactive and reactive patient outreach, this position will direct intervention according to individualized patient care needs and the nursing process.
What You'll Do
• Accurately assess patients at admission to the virtual care center, at required time points, and as needed, utilizing virtual care equipment.
• Engage patient/caregiver in their health goals and expectations while inviting the patient into the care team.
• Apply nursing judgment, consistent with practice standards, in formulating interventions and making recommendations to the physician, agency, and patient.
• Efficiently prioritize virtual care/ telemonitoring alerts based on patient acuity and initiate physician orders and available resources as needed.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and virtual care monitoring procedure utilizing the EMR and virtual care platform.
• Effective in coordinating patient care with other health team members: updating other disciplines regarding changes in the plan of care and the patient’s condition when indicated; and coordinating referrals and recertification information with other disciplines. Ensure that standards and practices reflect current standards and best practice within area of expertise
What You Need
• Bachelor's Degree, Nursing, required
• Current nursing license, required
• Minimum of 3 years direct clinical nursing care, required Emergency nursing experience, preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to problem solve

• Multi-task and be able to handle urgent, emergent matters objectively and fluidly
• In addition to your state of residence, this position requires you to be licensed, or be willing and able to be licensed, as an RN in any state that you will be servicing patients. If you do not obtain all necessary licenses prior to your start date, your continued employment will be contingent upon you receiving the required licenses within 60 calendar days of starting employment with DispatchHealth.
