Pricing Analyst

Bob's Discount Furniture is a leading omni-channel furniture retailer in the country, and they are seeking a Pricing Analyst to ensure customers find high-quality products at the best prices. The role involves conducting competitive pricing analysis, analyzing market data, and contributing to pricing strategies that impact sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct competitive pricing analysis and monitor market trends
• Support pricing decisions across the product lifecycle (launch → markdown → exit)
• Analyze customer purchasing patterns and pricing performance
• Use data tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Maintain accurate retail pricing and internal pricing architecture
• Execute pricing setup and updates across stores/zones
• Understand key performance metrics including margin, CPI, and sales impact
• Support pricing strategies aligned to overall business goals
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing workflows and systems
• Contribute to ongoing pricing strategy development

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
• 1+ year experience in pricing, analytics, or related field
• Strong analytical thinking

• Strong Excel / data manipulation skills
• Retail, merchandising, or consumer pricing experience
• Exposure to cross-functional environments (merchandising, finance, operations)
