MISSION OBJECTIVE: 

The Manager, Training will support the establishment, development and scaling of the training academy to ensure excellence in training conception, delivery and impact.  This role will support the building of feminist legal capacity, strengthening advocacy ecosystems and fostering collaborative connections across regions. 


PORTFOLIO/TEAM OVERVIEW

The Equal Justice Academy (EJA) is a new initiative of Equality Now.  The training division, which sits within it, is designed to build feminist legal capacity and jurisprudence, strengthen advocacy ecosystems and cultivate collaborative connections across regions.  The EJA comprises four different departments, each strategically interconnected  to progress our mission through learning, with the training division focused on enabling the next generation of feminist lawyers and judges and as a consequence shaping gender-sensitive, survivor-centred laws, jurisprudence and legal processes.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a general outline of duties and responsibilities for this role to be undertaken in collaboration with the Director, EJA. It is not an exhaustive list, and additional duties may be assigned or removed at the reasonable discretion of the ​Director EJA.

COMPENSATION:
At Equality Now, our compensation philosophy reflects our commitment to advancing the human rights of all women and girls through lasting legal and systemic change. We approach pay holistically, recognizing base salary as one component of a broader total rewards package designed to support well-being, growth, and long-term engagement.


Base Salary Range: $20,000 - $45,000 USD    
The final offer within this range will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and qualifications. Beyond base salary, Equality Now offers a comprehensive total rewards package that includes health and retirement benefits, generous leave, and ongoing professional development.
