Arriello is seeking an experienced Local Person for Pharmacovigilance (LPPV) in Italy to support our growing Pharmacovigilance team on a contractor basis. This is a part‑time role requiring approximately five hours of work per month and is ideal for an experienced PV professional who wishes to provide expert oversight within a flexible arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as Local Person for Pharmacovigilance (LPPV) for Italy.
  • Monitoring National Competent Authority (NCA) websites, local literature, and safety mailboxes for regulatory and safety updates.
  • Managing and responding to safety requests from the Italian NCA in a timely manner.
  • Supporting or hosting inspections and audits in the capacity of LPPV.
  • Ensuring local PV compliance in line with Italian regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of local PV legislation and guidelines.


Requirements

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of Pharmacovigilance experience, with specific LPPV experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous work as LPPV or in a similar local PV role in Italy.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting directly with the Italian NCA (e.g., safety requests, inspections, audits).
  • Experience monitoring NCA sources, local literature, or local safety mailboxes.
  • Formal training in local Pharmacovigilance legislation and guidelines.
  • Experience supporting or hosting inspections or audits as LPPV.
  • Fluency in Italian and strong English skills.
  • Must be resident in Italy.
