The Commitment Analysis Team Opportunity
The Commitment Analysis team is seeking a Lead Investigation Specialist who will be a remarkable addition to our growing family. As a Lead Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will guide the team in its reporting strategy and data architecture. You will organize professionals to build tooling and communicate with our partners across the broader arenaflex universe. You will be instrumental in driving the use of analytics as a core value driver across our entire organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Performance Reporting & Visualization: Serve as the primary partner for cross-functional partners to understand platform performance. When metrics are ahead or behind expectations, dive deep to drive meaningful, actionable insights that help improve business performance or double down on success.
- Reporting and Tooling Strategy: Lead the team in creating meaningful and consistent metrics and reporting across all streaming platforms. Develop standardized reporting frameworks that scale with our growing business needs.
- BI Performance & Execution: Drive reporting for particularly large-scale data operations. Act as an expert for professionals on the team and collaborate with Data Engineering and Engineering teams in designing and building performant ETLs, intermediate tables, and beautiful, fast Tableau and Looker dashboards.
- Creation of a Single Source of Truth: Partner with our Governance team and bring together analysts and stakeholders from across the team to define and standardize the metrics by which we assess product performance.
- ETL and Metric Design: Own measurement design and production by defining business requirements, structure and development, and long-term data scalability. Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting layers.
- Organization and Communication: Partner closely with business partners to identify and understand what they need to drive decisions, and with other data teams to improve platform capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, data visualization, and data architecture.
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Math, or a related field.
- Expertise developing data analysis and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Chartio, or equivalent platforms.
- Four or more years of analytical experience, preferably specifically in analysis engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL, with some experience in SparkSQL, Hive, or similar technologies.
- Extensive experience with OLAP databases like Snowflake or Redshift.
- Experience developing and maintaining advanced tables for reporting through ETLs.
- Project and resource management experience, outlining objectives and timelines, and coordinating work across multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Python/R or other statistical programming languages.
- Exceptional drive and passion for delivering exceptional products.
- Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation abilities and experience presenting to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- A great sense of humor and the ability to bring positive energy to team interactions.
- Unique interests or areas of expertise that influence the way you collaborate with others and/or approach your work.
- Experience in the streaming, media, or entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of modern data stack technologies and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics is a plus.
