Position Overview
As an Inbound Customer Service Representative at aren't you, you'll play a crucial role in delivering professional, courteous, and efficient support to our valued customers. This position involves handling a high volume of inbound calls related to billing inquiries, account questions, certification processes, renewal procedures, and application assistance.
You'll be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our products, services, and customer account systems. Your primary objective will be to resolve customer inquiries accurately and completely while providing a positive experience that reinforces customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The Customer Service Representative role at aren't you encompasses a wide range of responsibilities designed to deliver comprehensive support to our customer base. Your daily duties will include:
- Handling Inbound Calls: Manage a high volume of incoming customer calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner while adhering to quality standards and performance metrics.
- Account Inquiries: Respond to customer questions regarding their accounts, including billing information, payment status, account balances, and transaction history.
- Certification Support: Assist customers with understanding and completing certification processes, including explaining requirements, answering questions, and guiding them through necessary steps.
- Renewal Processing: Support customers with renewal procedures, ensuring they understand their options and helping them complete the renewal process smoothly.
- Application Assistance: Guide customers through application-related questions, providing clarification on forms, requirements, and submission processes.
- Customer Portal Support: Assist customers with navigating and using our customer portal, including account setup, profile updates, password resets, and feature utilization.
- Account Information Updates: Accurately update customer account information in our systems, ensuring data integrity and capturing all relevant details.
- System Navigation: Utilize multiple internal systems and databases to access customer information, review account history, and document interactions appropriately.
- Issue Resolution: Identify the root cause of customer concerns and provide effective solutions or escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Residency Requirement: Must be a current resident of the state of Texas. Proof of Texas residency or a valid Texas driver's license will be required upon hire.
- Minimum Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check as part of the pre-employment screening process.
- Equipment Requirement: Must have your own computer and equipment that meets or exceeds the technical specifications outlined below.
- Typing Speed: Must be able to type at a minimum of 25 words per minute with accuracy.
- Self-Motivation: Must be highly self-motivated and self-disciplined, capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

- Operating System: Windows 10 or higher (MacOS or Linux systems are not compatible with our required software)
- Processor: Intel Skylake i3 (2015 generation) or AMD Zen Ryzen (2017 generation) or better processor
- Memory: Minimum 8GB RAM or higher
- Internet Connection: Direct Ethernet connection (WiFi is not acceptable due to reliability and security requirements)
- Internet Speed: Consistent download speed of 50 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps or higher
- Monitors: Two monitors required – a television screen can function as a second monitor
- Peripherals: Ergonomic keyboard and mouse
- Webcam: Working webcam for video conferencing and verification purposes
- Headset: Professional headset with active noise cancellation and a mute button (required for clear communication and background noise management)
- Workspace: A quiet, dedicated workspace with an ergonomic chair and desk setup

Work Schedule & Availability
