Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for managing order processing, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage order processing for customers using proprietary order entry systems.
- Work with customers, sales reps, and sales management over the phone and email to resolve issues and provide product information.
- Handle incoming calls and emails from customers, addressing their queries and providing timely and accurate responses.
- Work with our technical support and collection personnel to expedite orders and resolve customer problems.
- Process purchase orders and order restock of inventory to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Maintain relationships with customers, gather feedback, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Answer pricing and product inquiries, and execute contract maintenance to inform customers of pricing contract changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's objectives.
Requirements:
- Excellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner.
- Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, preferred.
- Great follow-up skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and resolve problems (e.g., consolidate shipments from various suppliers and ensure documentation for export is correct).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the home furnishings or window coverings industry.
- Knowledge of Hunter Douglas window coverings and other luxury home furnishings products.
- Experience with proprietary order entry systems and other software applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
