Job Summary

The In-Community Program Specialist supports the planning, direction, implementation, and supervision of Tims Camps Community Programs which take place at schools and /or community group spaces in their designated region. The In-Community Program Specialist is responsible for ensuring participants have a positive, high quality program experience for long term impact. This role will ensure a focus on high quality program facilitation and delivery for maximum impact. The In-Community Program Specialist role applies their knowledge of youth development, outdoor and experiential education, program quality systems, and demonstrated excellence in coaching and facilitation to provide direction, coaching and support to their direct reports and the youth we serve.

Work Location

Victoria: Daily travel is required within the assigned geographic area (Victoria). This role will work remotely from Victoria. Travel beyond the primary geographic region will be required. Occasional travel will be required to the Home Office, located in St. George, Ontario.

Employment type

This position will be scheduled according to operational needs. The anticipated start date is September 3, 2026. We welcome applications from candidates interested in either a contract or permanent position. During active employment between September and June, the daily rate of pay for this role will range from $230.00 to $269.00, based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate, and less applicable statutory deductions. For permanent employees, this role is expected to include an annual temporary layoff period, typically occurring between July and August. The position is unpaid during temporary layoff periods and when not scheduled to work.
