The Human Resources Coordinator will support the HR department in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and administration, ensuring smooth HR processes and maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment requirements (background and reference checks, offers)
- Assist with onboarding new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, preparing paperwork, and helping to enhance the new hire experience
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance
- Manage HR documentation such as contracts, policies, and procedures, and generate reports and metrics as needed
- Respond to employee inquiries on HR-related policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating issues when appropriate
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, activities, and events to support a positive workplace culture
- Stay current on labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR processes align with compliance requirements
- Support the HR team with training program coordination, tracking employee development, and other special projects as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role (HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar)
- Strong understanding of HR functions, policies, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom, or similar)
- Proficiency in AI-powered tools and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, Copilot); ability to leverage AI to enhance content creation, campaign optimization, and workflow efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive information
