What You’ll Do
As a Home Inspector in Nashville, you will evaluate residential and commercial properties and provide clear, accurate reporting to clients, including buyers, sellers, and real estate agents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform home inspections for pre-purchase, pre-listing, and maintenance needs
- Assess structural, mechanical, and safety components of properties
- Conduct ancillary services, including radon testing, mold inspections, termite (WDI), and sewer scope inspections
- Communicate findings through detailed inspection reports and client conversations
- Navigate attics, roofs, and crawl spaces during inspections
- Safely lift up to 50 lbs of equipment as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Active Tennessee Home Inspector License (Required)
- Experience in home inspection, construction, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of residential systems, building materials, and construction methods
- Close attention to detail with strong problem-solving and observational skills
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical requirements
- Bending and kneeling while inspecting a home
- Ability to stand/walk for many hours at a time
- Ability to navigate attics and crawl spaces, including crawling
- Able to lift medium-sized ladders and smaller equipment
- Can operate during hot and cold weather conditions
- Home inspection is a moderately physical job
