[Hiring] Sr Medical Writer (Publications)- 3 Month Contract @Red Nucleus

Role Description In this position, you will be working with our Medical Communications team. As a Medical Writer at Red Nucleus, your responsibilities will include: • Researching, writing, and editing manuscripts, abstracts, slide presentations, posters, and other deliverables • Collaborating on client projects that are highly visible and engaged in inspiring pharmaceutical products and technologies within the medical field • Understanding and familiarity with most current AMA style • Determining accuracy of scientific information and data in a variety of biological fields • Communicating clearly with team members to achieve goals regarding content development • Delivering work by designated deadline and understanding the project development process • Working well in a team environment (onsite and remote) • Asking for supervisor assistance when appropriate • Understanding various aspects of preclinical and clinical drug development • Exhibiting knowledge of the components of a well-written piece of communication, across a range of deliverables • Ensuring all versions of a deliverable are saved to the team file according to standardized file naming criteria • Reviewing study data and distilling it into thorough and well-written deliverables • Displaying working knowledge of good publication practices • Working with the internal team in a respectful and productive manner Qualifications • MD, PhD in the life sciences, or PharmD required • 4 years of experience writing peer-reviewed publications, congress abstracts, posters, and slide decks in an agency setting • Ability to independently write and edit scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and training materials • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate in a virtual setting • Outstanding organizational/time management skills and ability to meet deadlines • Understanding of the AMA writing style • Team player with a detail-oriented work ethic Benefits • Competitive pay, incentives, retirement, and income security programs • Comprehensive benefits and wellness programs focused on healthy lifestyles • Generous paid time off, employee assistance programs, and flexible work arrangements • Performance-driven environment including professional development and transfer opportunities • People-first culture fostering self-expression, diversity, and a growth mindset • Celebrations of service anniversaries, holidays, diversity and inclusion events, project milestones, and other meaningful occasions • Support of community organizations you are passionate about • Ongoing programs and events designed to bring our global team together
