Role Description
The Kidney Experts is seeking a full-time Scribe to join our team in Jackson, Dyersburg, or Union City, TN. This role involves documenting real patient encounters alongside nephrologists, providing a unique opportunity to learn about nephrology and build a solid clinical foundation for your healthcare career.
• On-site during onboarding and training (travel between locations may be required).
• All scribing is virtual via Google Meet, even when at the same location as the provider.
• Remote work may become available based on demonstrated performance and accuracy.
• Compensation starts at $12 – $15/hour, with performance-based increases.
• Hospital scribing assignments pay a higher rate.
Qualifications
• Pursuing or interested in a career in healthcare (pre-med, pre-PA, nursing, or related).
• Familiarity with medical terminology (training provided).
• Strong typing speed and comfort with technology.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting or as a scribe (a plus, not a prerequisite).
Requirements
• Precision in nephrology documentation.
• Understanding and following established processes and protocols.
• Ability to work best with clear expectations and thorough training.
• Cooperative and supportive team player.
• Serious approach to healthcare documentation.
