We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our Legal Entity Reporting team within the External Reporting - Legal Entity Reporting Center of Excellence. Position Overview
As a Financial Analyst in our Legal Entity Reporting division, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements for various legal entities across our global operations. This position requires a deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local GAAP to US GAAP reconciliation, and regulatory reporting requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Reporting, Financial Controllers, and senior leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Statement Preparation: Independently prepare comprehensive financial statements in accordance with IFRS legal reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness against planned schedules.
- Board Reporting: Prepare Board and other committee reporting packs according to established delivery schedules, presenting financial data in a clear and actionable format for senior leadership.
- Legal Entity Review: Lead end-to-end legal entity reviews as directed by the Delivery Lead/Manager of Legal Entity Reporting (LER), Accounting and Reporting Team, and Financial Controller.
- GAAP Reconciliation: Prepare local GAAP to US GAAP reconciliation, analyzing and assessing significant changes for GAAP differences to ensure compliance with both local and international standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Conduct client calls and provide analysis of reporting information to support board meetings and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Multi-Market Management: Manage delivery across multiple markets simultaneously while performing peer-level reviews or consolidations.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and support to Band 28 team members, mentoring junior staff and fostering professional development.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing research on GAAP, regulations, and laws to ensure compliance with evolving financial reporting standards.
- Controls and Governance: Ensure effective controls and governance are adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
- Audit Collaboration: Research and collaborate with auditors/clients to provide explanations and resolutions for issues and inquiries raised during the review process.
- Technology Utilization: Demonstrate proficiency in Workiva Wdesk and HFM systems for legal, regulatory, and board reporting.
- Process Improvement: Lead automation and standardization projects to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Strong preference for qualified professionals with Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or ACCA certification.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in Public Accounting, Auditing, Legal Entity Reporting, and Control functions.
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting within a multinational corporation or Big 4 accounting firm.
- Previous experience in legal entity reporting, regulatory compliance, or external financial reporting is highly desirable.
Technical Competencies
- Strong financial accounting/reporting background with comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and reporting requirements.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with other GAAP frameworks (Indian GAAP, local GAAP) is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Essbase, Oracle, or other analytical software is preferred.
- Experience with Workiva Wdesk and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) systems is a strong plus.
