Position Summary:
The Program Financial Analyst IV will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets, and providing insights to support decision-making processes related to government contracts aimed at improving resiliency within the defense industrial base. This individual will work closely with the finance team and other stakeholders within BFA to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize financial performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Advanced abilities in financial processes for government contract management including demonstrated proficiency with budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing.
· In-depth knowledge of US government contracting regulations and requirements, including FAR Cost Allowability and DFARS.
· Strong problem solving, analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, draw meaningful insights and identify innovative solutions to improve operational inefficiencies.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
· Proven ability to manage and balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
· Advanced Excel abilities to include linked workbooks, large multi-sheet models, lookups and pivot tables. PowerPoint experience preferred.
· Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
Education, Certifications, and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on US government contracting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for success in the role.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Government Financial Manager, Certified Defense Financial Manager) a plus.
Preferred Skills/Abilities/Experience:
· 10 years of progressively responsible financial analyst experience
· Proven ability to take initiative and apply knowledge to advance in previous roles
· Proven track record of assuming additional responsibilities as expertise and proficiency increased
· Experience with financial systems and software, such as Deltek Costpoint
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Travel Expectations:
· Expected travel: up to 10%
· **Periodic travel to HQ (Bryan, TX) or Washington, DC for meetings may be required.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $107,600 - $134,500, based on factors such as experience, skills, required location, and available funding. This range reflects that base salary and does not include any possible bonuses or benefits. Actual compensation may vary and will be determined during the interview process and in accordance with applicable laws.
