We're looking for a sharp Finance Analyst to be the backbone of our fast-paced production environment. You will be crucial in ensuring our finances are accurate and organised, providing key reporting and controls, and building cross-business relationships to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. If you're ready to make informed decisions and keep a stellar programming output on track, apply now!</p><p> </p><p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p><p>We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join us. </p><ul><li>You’ll play a key role in keeping our finances accurate, organised and up to date. </li><li>Working in a fast-paced production environment, you’ll support reporting, controls and day-to-day finance activity; helping the team stay on track and make informed decisions.</li><li><p>You’ll work closely with finance colleagues and teams across the business, building strong relationships and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.</p><p> </p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills you’ll need </strong>(minimum criteria)</p><ul><li><strong>Relevant finance qualification or study</strong><br>Degree in Accounting/Finance, AAT qualified or currently studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent experience)</li><li><strong>Finance experience</strong><br>Experience in a Finance Analyst, Assistant Accountant or similar role, with exposure to transactional finance and/or month-end processes.</li><li><strong>Core accounting tasks</strong><br>Experience of accounting tasks including but not limited to: bank reconciliations; accounts payable; accounts receivable; journal postings; balance sheet reconciliations</li><li><strong>Systems</strong><br>Experience using accounting software (eg Sage or similar) and Excel</li><li><strong>Organisation and accuracy</strong><br>Evidence of managing multiple tasks with strong attention to details (eg meeting deadlines, handling high volumes of data or transactions accurately).</li></ul><p> </p><p>Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)</p><ul><li>Experience in media, TV production or a similar fast-paced industry</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines</li><li>A proactive approach with a demonstrable ability to spot issues and suggest improvements</li><li>A team player who can also work independently and stay focused on prioritising / delivering</li><li>Confidence working in a deadline-driven, changing environment</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Please note, on occasion we may receive a very large volume of applications which means applications for a role may close earlier than the referenced closing date.
