**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our retail store team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing expert advice on printing, signs & graphics, and shipping solutions, and driving sales growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities. **Key Responsibilities**
* Deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing expert advice on printing, signs & graphics, and shipping solutions
* Utilize consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs
* Provide accurate pricing information and take complex customer orders using order systems
* Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
* Set up and operate printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents
* Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment
* Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
* Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability
* Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage
* Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
* Complete required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits
**Essential Qualifications and Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent education
* 6+ months of specialized experience in a retail or customer-facing role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
* Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role, particularly in printing, signs & graphics, and shipping solutions
* Knowledge of printing, signs & graphics, and shipping solutions, including equipment operation and maintenance
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
