**Key Responsibilities**
As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Utilizing arenaflex's proprietary data entry methods and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering information into our secure systems.
* Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering refill orders for processing.
* Investigating to obtain missing medication data, deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolving all data entry-related exceptions.
* Handling correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and making outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
* Resolving external exceptions by researching, gathering data, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual arrangement requirements.
* Making phone calls to support plans and others to acquire data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve external exceptions.
* Providing assistance to pharmacists, both in-office and at other locations, and recognizing and conveying issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, or a related field).
* Essential level computer skills, including:
+ Starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing data online.
* Essential web search skills, including:
+ Opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a webpage, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing online forms.
* Transitional level keyboarding skills, including:
+ Typing at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and arranging reports.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
* Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
* Transitional to advanced level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and arranging documents.
* Familiarity with Spanish and English.
