As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering exceptional service and making a real difference in people's lives. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Overnight Customer Service Representative to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, processing loan applications, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience. If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you! **Responsibilities and Duties** As an Overnight Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to assist customers with their loan applications and other queries * Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, including loan applications, payment arrangements, and customer interactions * Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions * Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively to customers, listening to and understanding their concerns and ideas * Maintaining a professional manner when speaking to customers, showing sensitivity, tact, and empathy * Following written and/or verbal instructions to ensure that customer interactions are handled efficiently and effectively * Working within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures that govern our financial institution * Processing card payments accurately and efficiently * Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems * Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan and making recommendations to management * Following up with customers to clarify important points and ensure that they understand their loan obligations * Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed of their loan status and obligations * Remaining up-to-date regarding lending and other financial services, including new products and initiatives * Creating and renewing records to ensure that customer information is accurate and up-to-date * Identifying customer needs and exploring all options available to customers to ensure that they receive the best possible service * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and change quickly with the needs of the company * Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously * Meeting monthly individual goals as set by management **Required Skills** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering top-notch support to our customers * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, even in tense situations * Proficient use of technology, including computers, software applications, and phone systems * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines **Preferred Education and/or Experience** While a minimum of a high school diploma/GED is required, we prefer candidates with: * Previous experience in customer service or a related field * Technical skills, including proficiency in MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Familiarity with cloud-based storage and the internet **Working Conditions / Physical Demands** As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be working from home, but you'll need to be able to: * Sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly * Work a 3rd shift schedule, from 11pm to 7am * Meet the physical demands of the role, including sitting for extended periods of time **Benefits and Perks** As a member of our team, you'll enjoy: * A competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * A dynamic and supportive work environment * Flexible working arrangements, including remote work options * Access to the latest technology and tools * A comprehensive training program to ensure your success in the role **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering top-notch service, we want to hear from you!
