**Job Summary**
We are seeking experienced Medical Customer Service Representatives to join our remote team, working from home in the Dallas/Irving area. As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering inbound calls, making outbound calls, and working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient. **Key Responsibilities**
* Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients, healthcare providers, and payers
* Provide empathetic and personalized support to patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
* Use computer skills for data entry, gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information
* Work with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to patients
* Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call volume, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction
**Essential Qualifications**
* At least 1 year of recent Call Center experience (no exceptions)
* Active internet already installed and the ability to work from home
* Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
* Great work attitude and willingness to help others
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a related field
* Knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures
* Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
