About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Distributed Systems Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying scalable and highly available cloud-based applications. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to architect and implement cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.
Focus Areas:
Our Distributed Systems Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the foundation of our data platform. We're a small, agile team that's passionate about innovation and collaboration. Our focus areas include:
- Data Access Stage: We're building a highly scalable and performant data access layer that enables our microservices to efficiently store, consume, and manage their data.
- Data Stage Foundation: Our data stage foundation provides a unified platform for our data platforms, enabling us to rapidly deploy cutting-edge data and analytics frameworks across the organization.
- Big Data Figure: We're responsible for building the cloud-native stage for distributed data processing at arenaflex. This includes working with Flash, Presto/Trino, Druid, Ice sheet, and distributed database frameworks.
- Big Data Arrangement: We offer a self-serve platform for planning, organizing, and executing big data jobs and workflows. Our platform includes basic services that run ETL and ML responsibilities on our Big Data Frameworks.
About You
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer who can hit the ground running. You'll have:
- 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems features or applications.
- Strong skills in designing and developing scalable, high-performance web services.
- Experience in building and working with adaptable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Ability to handle multi-threading and concurrency.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field.
