**Job Summary**
As a Principal DevOps Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing systems that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the development and implementation of DevOps strategies, practices, and culture across the organization
* Establish and maintain DevOps best practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, and deployment techniques
* Design and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar
* Execute and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar, ensuring fast and reliable application deployment
* Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements
* Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement, automation, and innovation to enhance deployment consistency and accuracy
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends, patterns, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's DevOps environment
* Coach and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Experience working in cloud environments, such as GCP, Azure, or AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
* Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools, such as Terraform and Ansible
* Active involvement in CI/CD pipeline tools, such as Jenkins and CircleCI, and version control systems, like Git
* Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar
* Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps stage issues and provide effective solutions
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Cloud Logging Solutions
* Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure deployment practices
* Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding junior colleagues, is a plus
