As a key intermediary between potential clients and our financial institution, you'll be responsible for analyzing loan applications, originating loans, making payment arrangements, and answering customer inquiries. Your exceptional communication skills, technical proficiency, and ability to work under pressure will make you an invaluable asset to our team. **Responsibilities and Duties:** As a Remote, 3rd Shift Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to assist customers with loan applications, payment arrangements, and other inquiries * Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, including loan applications, payment history, and customer interactions * Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions * Communicating clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing * Maintaining a professional demeanor and showing sensitivity, tact, and empathy when interacting with customers * Following written and/or verbal instructions, as well as company policies and procedures * Processing card payments accurately and efficiently * Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems * Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loans and making recommendations for approval or denial * Following up with customers to clarify important points and ensure a smooth loan process * Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed of their obligations and responsibilities * Staying up-to-date on lending and other financial services, including new products and regulations * Creating and renewing records, as needed * Identifying customer needs and exploring all available options to meet their financial goals * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt quickly to changing company needs * Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously * Meeting monthly individual goals, as set by management **Required Skills:** * Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, patience, and professionalism * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, even in tense situations * Proficient with technology, including computers, software applications, and phone systems * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions **Preferred Education and/or Experience:** * Minimum of a High School diploma or GED * Previous experience in customer service, financial services, or a related field is preferred * Technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and cloud-based storage **Technical Skills:** * Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Proficient user of the Internet and cloud-based storage * Familiarity with loan processing software and other financial services technology **Working Conditions / Physical Demands:** * Must be able to sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly * Sitting for extended periods of time * Shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (3rd shift) * Fully remote after initial 1-week training period (training will be 8am-5pm M-F during 1st week) **Why Join arenaflex?** At arenaflex, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
