As a member of our team, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive workforce that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. **Key Responsibilities:** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and exceeding their expectations. Your duties will include: * Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner * Issuing, reissuing, and refunding traveler tickets * Booking, ticketing, and confirming flight reservations * Rebooking travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations * Performing traveler registration and front seat tasks (excluding curbside) * Correcting oversold seat tasks and issuing upgrades * Issuing vouchers and coordinating with project workers for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation * Performing traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check * Working entryway peruser/scanner and related duties to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carryon items, and leave line models * Working jetways/spans for the purpose of boarding and deplaning travelers * Making boarding and takeoff gate declarations * Conveying domestic/international flight records * Performing traveler service flight close-out methods * Accepting, checking, and labeling travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and top-of-the-line ticket counters * Maintaining the schedule of flight loading process * Performing customer service hands-on training * Processing and completing credit card baggage exchanges at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Helping travelers with self-service kiosk registration and booth baggage handling at ticket counters * Line standing at ticket counter stands and ticket counters * Clearing/confirming international records at booth in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Accepting and activating travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations * Helping clients requiring special assistance or in-station; helping boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors * Performing customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements * Having standard and predictable attendance on location, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements * Answering and assisting during security and emergency situations * Providing interfacing traveler door information * Providing quality customer service in a professional manner and according to American's rules * Adhering to organization policies, procedures, and performance guidelines * Completing task-related stages of training * Complying with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA) * Utilizing various internal resources/frameworks including during customer interactions * Wearing uniform as required by organization policy **Additional Responsibilities (dependent on airport size):** * Performing Traveler Activity Control capabilities including air to ground communication along with Peak capabilities * Helping international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage re-check * Conveying tickets, international flight reports, and customs/migration forms **Requirements:** * High school diploma or equivalent * Previous customer service experience * Bilingual language abilities required in certain areas * Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities * Must meet FAA criminal history verifications to qualify for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable * Must be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs security identifications, if applicable * Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet organization and security requirements * Must be eligible to work in the U.S. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Training and previous professional experience * Working knowledge of Saber or other Traveler Service Framework * Past face-to-face customer service experience * Working in a high-speed environment **What You'll Get:** * Competitive hourly rate of $24 * Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, prescription, and vision coverage * Health programs to help you be your best self * 401(k) program with employer contributions available after one year * Additional benefits, including our Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, vehicles, travel, and more * Opportunity to work from home and enjoy a healthy work-life balance * Career growth opportunities and learning benefits * Inclusive and diverse work environment that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning **How to Apply:** If you're ready to join the arenaflex family and embark on a journey of growth, learning, and self-discovery, apply now!
