As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our organization, providing exceptional support to customers and brokers through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. You'll be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, processing transactions, and facilitating the issuance of policies. **Key Responsibilities**
* Answer incoming calls and assist callers with inquiries, including:
+ New business (quotation/payment status)
+ Renewals (payment/issuance status)
+ Endorsements (processing status/evidence of insurance requests)
+ Inspections
+ Deficiency letters
+ Cancellations/non-renewals
+ CEA (payment/policy/quotation status)
* Perform daily assigned work with primary emphasis on call center activities
* Research and resolve customer or broker questions/problems
* Handle agency licensing tasks, including:
+ Registering new brokers
+ Address changes
+ Agency mergers
* Follow up with other departments to resolve problem files
* Input data in a desktop database for all incoming calls
* Assist customers at the front desk when necessary
* Distribute faxes and other correspondence to the department
* Facilitate the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required
* Participate in individual and group training designed to improve service
* Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma and basic computer skills required
* 1 year of insurance experience (coverage knowledge) and customer service/call center experience required
* Good communication skills with emphasis on phone skills
* Good interpersonal skills (both internal and external) and ability to work well in a team environment
* Ability to perform slightly varied moderately complex tasks
* Occasional decision making and judgment required
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Sound decision making skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
* Experience with desktop databases and software applications
* Familiarity with the insurance industry and regulatory requirements
