As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, providers, and internal medical personnel. You'll work in a fast-paced call center environment, resolving moderate to complex issues, scheduling appointments, and verifying patient information. If you're a results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include: * Answering a minimum of 11 calls per hour, resolving moderate to complex issues * Scheduling and verifying appointments in our clinical information system * Verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information * Sending and receiving tasks to Provider offices to assist patients with access to medical care * Receiving and processing expedited, stat, and at-risk referrals * Contacting patients to advise of appointment and referral status * Performing extreme high-volume data entry * Processing and resolving expedited patient complaints * Reviewing and processing medication refills * Providing proactive responses to inquiries from patients, providers, and internal medical personnel **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A High School Diploma or equivalent * At least 6 months of call center experience * At least 6 months of customer service experience * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word * Must be at least 18 years of age * Flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, Saturday-Sunday 7am-5pm **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we're looking for candidates with: * Medical terminology knowledge * Advanced knowledge of insurance products * Training in a medical office-related field * CPT and ICD-10 coding skills **Soft Skills** We're looking for individuals with: * Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette skills * Strong oral and written communication skills * Solid listening, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills * Ability to prioritize call types **Compensation and Benefits** As a valued member of our team, you'll receive a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including: * A competitive hourly rate of $16.00-$28.27 per hour * A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage * Incentive and recognition programs * Equity stock purchase opportunities * 401(k) contribution **Work Environment** As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.
