**Job Summary**
As an arenaflex Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support. You'll be responsible for handling high-volume client requests, processing new patient enrollments, and maintaining accurate records. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Utilize arenaflex's solution information passage methods and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter information into the proper system.
* Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
* Investigate missing medication data, decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve information passage-related exceptions.
* Handle correspondence with patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed.
* Resolve external exceptions by auditing, gathering data, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual arrangement requirements.
* Make phone calls to healthcare providers and others to gather information, obtain supersede endorsements, or resolve external exceptions.
* Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and at other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as needed.
* Obtain a valid professional license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain a valid professional license or certification.
**Essential Capabilities**
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
* Basic computer skills, including:
+ Starting and closing the computer.
+ Using the mouse to point and click.
+ Starting and closing programs.
+ Switching between programs.

**Preferred Capabilities**
* At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
* At least 1.5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a declaration/enrollment by state as recognized by the state Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency.
* Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
* Transitional to advanced-level keyboarding skills, including:
+ Typing at least 35 WPM.
+ Typing by memory.

* Familiarity with Spanish and English.
